Are you young, ambitious and dreaming of seeing the world? You have heard that China is a land of opportunity, but you are afraid to go to the unknown? Or maybe you are thinking, «What if I don't succeed in becoming a top model? What will I do then?»

Our agency breaks stereotypes. We launch a unique program of relocation and employment in Asia. Our main specialization is modeling. But we realize that life is not limited to the catwalk.

In this document, we offer you a comprehensive strategy for living in China. We are looking for models, but we are also willing to offer alternative development paths for creative and educated people.

PART 1: BASIC MODELING (CASTING CALL)

China's fashion market is the largest in the world. If you fit one of the categories below, this is your fastest start.

1. E-COMMERCE & CATALOG (COMMERCIAL MODELS)

The most massive vacancy.

China is the world leader in online shopping (Taobao, Tmall, JD). Clothing brands need thousands of European faces for their catalogs.

• Who we're looking for:

  • Girls: Height 163-175 cm. Pretty, smiling, with good skin. Baby Face type.

  • Guys: Height 180-186 cm. Handsome, trim.

• The essence of the job: Shooting large quantities of clothing (up to 80-100 articles per day). It is physically demanding but pays very well.

2. HIGH FASHION

For Shanghai and Hong Kong.

• Who we're looking for:

  • Girls: Height 177-181 cm, hips to 90 cm. Interesting, non-standard faces.

  • Guys: Height 188-190 cm, slim.

• The essence of the job: Shows, magazines, image shoots. It's a job for your name and portfolio.

3. LINGERIE & BODY (LINGERIE AND SWIMWEAR)

In demand in southern China.

• Who we're looking for: Girls 18+ with feminine shapes (B-C breasts, pronounced waist, beautiful hips). The skin must be perfect.

• The essence of the job: Shooting pajamas, corrective underwear, thermal underwear, swimwear. It is always very aesthetically pleasing and decent.

4. PLUS-SIZE (PLUS-SIZE MODELS)

A growing trend.

• Who we're looking for: Clothing size 48-54 (L-XXL). Growth from 170 cm. Tightened figure «hourglass», beautiful face.

5. MATURE MODELS

To advertise premium products.

• Who we're looking for: Men and women 35-60 years old. Noble appearance, charisma.

PART 2: CAREER PLAN «B» - ALTERNATIVE CAREERS

(CAREER PLAN B: ALTERNATIVE PROFESSIONS)

What to do if you don't fit the parameters for modeling? Or if you want to finish your modeling career and live in China? Or if you want to do both?

China has a huge shortage of foreign professionals in education, arts and commerce. We help you find yourself in the following areas:

1. TEACHER (TEACHER / TUTOR)

It is the most popular and stable profession for foreigners in China. Parents are willing to pay huge sums of money for their children's education.

• English (ESL Teacher):

  • Where: Kindergartens, training centers, international schools.

  • Requirements: Good level of spoken English (Fluent English), love for children, energetic. Bachelor's degree (any) is a must for a work visa. TEFL/TESOL certificate will be a huge plus.

  • Salary: Very competitive. Often includes free accommodation.

• Art Teacher (Art / Music / Dance):

  • Where: Private art schools, conservatories, studios.

  • Requirements: Specialized education (musical, choreographic, artistic). Ability to teach piano, ballet, painting or vocals.

  • Prerequisite: The Russian school of art is very valued in China. «Teacher from Russia» is a mark of quality.

2. EMPLOYEE OF AN INTERNATIONAL TRADING COMPANY (TRADE MANAGER)

China is the «factory of the world». Thousands of companies trade with Russia, the CIS and Europe. They need employees who understand the mentality of both sides.

• Sales Manager:

  • Task: Search for clients in Russia/CIS/Europe, negotiations, participation in exhibitions (Canton Fair).

  • Requirements: Knowledge of Russian and English languages (Chinese will be a plus, but not always obligatory), communication skills, activity.

• Bayer / Sourcing Agent:

  • Task: Search for suppliers in China, quality control of goods, logistics.

  • Requirements: Responsibility, willingness to travel to factories.

3. ARTIST AND SHOW BUSINESS (PERFORMING ARTS)

China's entertainment industry is huge. Amusement parks, clubs, hotels, corporate events need entertainers.

• Dancers: Show ballets, go-go (in decent clubs), folk dancing. Work in amusement parks (e.g. Disney, Happy Valley) on a 6-12 month contract.

• Musicians & Singers: Work in the lobbies of expensive hotels (piano, harp, violin) or in music bars (jazz bands, vocalists).

• DJs: Girl and guy DJs are very much in demand in clubs and festivals. European looks are part of the show here.

• Actors (Actors): Shooting in movie extras, commercials (where the roles of «foreign businessman» or «doctor» are needed), participation in TV shows.

PART 3: VISA SUPPORT FOR DIFFERENT PROFESSIONS

Legalization is the foundation of your security. The type of visa depends on the chosen path.

1. For Models and Artists (Visa Z - Art/Performance):

Formalized through the Ministry of Culture. Requires a portfolio and video material. It is a legal permit for concert and modeling activities.

2. For Teachers (Visa Z - Foreign Expert):

Formalized through the Office of Overseas Professionals.

• Strict Requirement: Bachelor's degree (legalized in the consulate) + certificate of no criminal record + work experience from 2 years (or TEFL certificate).

• This is the most prestigious and protected visa, giving a full social package.

3. For Managers (Visa Z - Business/Work):

Checks in with a trading company. Requires a diploma and resume.

PART 4: LIFE IN CHINA: MYTHS AND REALITY

Myth: «China is dirty and poor.».

Reality: China's megacities (Shanghai, Shenzhen) look like cities from the future. Skyscrapers, perfect roads, parks, cleanliness, delivery robots. The standard of living here is higher than in many European capitals.

Myth: «I won't be able to live there without Chinese.».

Reality: There are a lot of foreigners in big cities. All applications (cabs, food delivery, subway) are intuitive. Online translators in your phone allow you to solve any problem in seconds.

Myth: «It's not safe out there.».

Reality: China is one of the safest countries in the world. There is no street crime here. You can walk alone at 3 a.m. with an expensive cell phone in your hand.

PART 5: FINANCIAL OUTLOOK

Why go? For the earnings and standard of living, of course.

• Models: Earnings depend on the season and type. In a good month you can earn from $3,000 to $10,000. Top models earn considerably more.

• Teachers: English teacher salaries start from $2,000 - $2,500 per month (net) and can go up to $4,000 in international schools. Plus a free apartment is often provided. This is a steady income every month.

• Dancers/Artists: Fixed salaries from $1,200 to $2,000 per month + recycling and tips.

• Managers: Salary + percentage of sales. There is no ceiling.

PART 6: HOW TO APPLY?

What should be in your letter:

1. Post subject line: Indicate the desired direction.

   • Example: «MODELING 2025» or «TEACHER 2025» or «DANCER 2025.».

2. Questionnaire:

   • Name, Age, Nationality.

   • Height, Parameters (for models/dancers).

   • Education (for teachers/managers) - what university, specialty, year of graduation.

   • English level (Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced).

3. Media Materials:

   • For models: Snaps (without makeup) + Portfolio.

   • For Teachers: Video business card (Self-intro) in English for 1 minute (tell about yourself, your experience, why you love children). A photo in business style.

   • For artists: Demo videos of your performances + Promo photos in costume.
